Hi I'm Robin, and I've been a Realtor since 1996, so I've seen a lot.
I had just moved to Chicago after being a TV reporter in Rockford, and I remember being nervous and wondering if anyone would let me sell their house! I met my first seller by cold-calling after work, and he let me sell his town home. Every client I met back then came from door-knocking and cold-calling. There was no internet and people still had home answering machines. I never intended to be a Realtor, but it is fun and challenging and fell into place. I really like getting to know my clients, and many turn into close friends, which is great since this work schedule makes socializing a challenge. I've been at Coldwell Banker and Sotheby's for all of my career, which allows me to stay focused on my most important job - selling your home, advising you on investments and guiding you over sometimes crazy buying hurdles. This is what guides me and keeps me excited to do my job every day. I hope to see you in 2020!
